About my area mods

A lot of people have asked me if I ever plan on releasing my area mods. For awhile I ddn't think I was ever gonna release them because I'm a trolling tease but I've come to a definitive decision and that decision is...

my game is having trouble reading your area texture, and i even put it in the area folder, actually i put it everywhere at this point, i need help x3

The only reason I can think of is that you took the brres files out of their folder. You need to place the mXXn folder into the areas folder.

Okay I need everyone to do something very simple to get the area mods to work, I just realized I forgot to place a sub-folder which is needed for them to run in Riivo. I released the files as mXXd/mXXn > brres files, it should be mXXd/mXXn > mXXaXXd/mXXaXXn > brres files. I apologize for the hassle and I will remake the DLs if it's too much work.

Here's an example of what you would need to do. You would take say the 1st set of D.Isle files and put them in a folder named m01a00n. The next set would go in a folder named m01a01n, so on and so forth.

Once again I apologize, Ive never set up an area patch for Riivo until now

if thats all i gotta do then it should be ok, as u know, shit never goes my way on the 1st try xD

ok so i made a folder for each of those txt, except i put summer.bress file same folder (number coordinated though)

download the ice sacred land(awesome btw) was ala meant to look like original except with blue claws n mouth(unless i fk up some how again, wtf all im doin is copy n paste, cant mess up that shit right -_-?) but i also deleted the golden ala texture(maybe i didnt need to, idk) but i got the ice sacred land so i know i did right so idk...

The stages are broken up by areas, that's why D.Isle has 12 levels and Sacred land only has 2. within the mXXn/mXXd folder you need a subfolder for each of those levels. In the mXXaXXd/mXXaXXn folder goes every brres file with the corresponding numbers. There will be a max of 3 brres files in these folders. mXXaXXd.brres, mXXaXXd-suimen.brres and mXXaXXd-set.brres. These all pertain to the same area. Then all those level folders will go in the main stage folder, mXXd/mXXn which you stick in the 'areas' folder for Riivo.

Ice Ala's body is supposed to be white, wing's blue and there's blue accent throughout the texture. Obviously you can't have 2 files with the same name in a single folder, so you would of had to delete one of the ala textures either way.

good looking rei, after thoroughly reading, i founded out that i named all the sub folders wrong adding a n before the axxn/d, this shit is awesome xD, but this isnt the case with ala, its just being a bitch, just like ala himself

I can't wait to check these out. My internet is being a major tool.

uhh i really cant figure out how to make the D island one work... i put it in the areas solder and made all the sub folders but when i go on tri it didnt work...

ryu, your mod is awesome! I just checked out the D. Island and was blown away. I haven't checked the Sacred Land yet. And what does the symbol on the moon mean?

Blackice, did you try going to the Island at night? That's when the mod takes effect.

Yesterday I tried he sacred land texture mod. Very nice but is it possible to give the icefall some more details. It seemed to be only one color...

Ty sir. The kanji on the moon translates to 'nothing', one of the meanings of rei.

I gave the icefall a very pronounced glow so you can't really see the blue in it, try turning down the brightness if you want more detail.
