Monster Texture Archive

Someone mentioned this in the chat box, and I thought it would be good to have.

So basically, I'll put up links to different monster textures in this post, and you guys can download them and replace the existing textures on your SD card, if you'd like.

If you would like to submit a texture, just post it as a reply to this topic, or PM myself or AsteriskRocks about it.

To replace textures:
- Download and extract the brres file(s)
- On your SD card, go to
(root) > riivolution > mh3t > textures > monsters
- Move the brres file(s) into the corresponding folder (the folder will have the same name as the file)
- If the folder does not exist, you can create it

If you want to use the default texture from the game, just delete the brres file from your SD card.

Added a handful of textures created by Alemossa.

Started adding screenshots. Still a lot more to go.

Added Silver Rathalos by Alemossa.

Replaced Qurupeco subspecies texture with an improved version by Alemossa.

Also, Alemossa updated the Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian textures, so be sure to update your files if you have the old versions.

No pics for these yet, which leads me to the following request:

I've been using a Dolphin emulator to take quality screenshots, but the method is painfully tedious as the emulator runs at approximately half the speed on my computer (not to mention I have to play using my keyboard). So I would like to ask if anyone can help by taking screenshots for me.

You don't have to use the emulator. If you have a video capture device, you or I could extract screenshots from the recordings. I just want them to be of decent quality.

So if anyone would like to help with that, just let me know.
