Custom Armor Texture Creation Suggestions Thread.

Lately I've been modding nothing but weapons and areas ~~mainly because I have no good ideas for armor textures~~ so if you have any suggestions of armor textures you would like to see, post your ideas here.

If I like the idea and it is within my abilities I'll happily make your texture =) Hell, if you have ideas for any texture type ~~weapons, areas, monsters~~ I could make them, modding is very fun after all xD

Can you do a Felyne/Melynx set? I think it sounds pretty cool.

Hmm maybe, would probably need to mod the armor frames to make it look good. Though on a smaller scale I could probably mod Rheno Helm to make it look like a cat, whiskers, re-colouring, etc.

I kinda want the Wyvernking Eyepatch to be changed into a Bowser head, if that's possible.

Hmmm How about making Vangis into a football uniform, a little extreme but it could be pretty funny Or turning the Uragaan gunner armor into a ghille suit?

Yea I've been thinking about doing this for awhile, Just need a usable model and I can patch it in.

I'm not really sure to be honest, if I could find a model for Bowser's head I'm certain I could make a helm of it though.

Lmao male Vangis armor into a football uniform is totally possible, just give me the team colours. And I'm not really sure what ghille is.

Okay I feel the need to clarify here. I'd prefer suggestions that didn't require using entirely different frames ~~why the word TEXTURE in in the topic name.~~ Since I'm not very adept at 3d modeling and most existing models do not function properly in the BRRES format.

To do things like make a Batman suit for example, I would need a good frame which can be imported into a BRRES editor ~~chances are slim~~ and the ability to break up the model to make the individual armor pieces ~~more work than I care to do.~~

While it would be nice to have all new armor sets, the way MH breaks up armor pieces makes it very difficult to do. Things like adding a tail to a set is more executable.

ryurei, perhaps you should recruit some help for this. Especially some one who can do models pretty well.

I don't really feel the need to find someone to do models for me. If someone wants to they are more than welcome but I would like for everyone to read the name of this thread one more time and notice it says textures.

EDIT: and one more clarification, I never meant for this thread to be just me making mods. This is just a place to request what you would like to see. So until someone with the capabilities to make new armor models makes themselves known, let's stick to textures.
