Never Ending Story

"i always thought u was the 'lone wolf' type but u have a partner and ur even worrying about someone else's partner." i said.

"I do have worked alone since I was a child Forte, you know that" Kristia said with some hint of hate

"I work alone because Im used to it, but that doesn´t mean I will let others be in problems were I can help, that is the difference between a lone wolf and a solitary hunter. The lone wolf lives to protects what it cares for knowing the risks of doing it, and the other one just cares for himself" The huntress said still on a bit of heat

"We don´t know what you did since your escape from your kingdom, but I hope you have done the right thing, besides trying to look "cool" as you say proves you are hiding something" Ursula stated facing both Zeles and Forte

"maybe im trying to act cool because i cant tell a certain someone something important." i said looking away from kristia.

"Zero, r u trying to?" Zeles asks.

"can it." i said back.

"If you got something important to say, Ursula will know, our souls are linked, she knows what I know and viceversa" Kristia said kind of irritated and Ursula chuckled a bit

"It isn´t my fault that you bumped into my past rellationship memories" the guardian said with a little mischevious smile

"i, uh." i say hesitently.

"he's trying to say that." Zeles said.

"Stop Zeles, i'm trying ok." i say interuppting her.

"Well, im all ears Forte" Kristia just said looking at the stars

"Zeles, Ursula, can u 2 give us some privitcy? without using the connection, so we can have absoulute privitcy." i ask.

"Sure." Zeles said and floated away.

"Mortals and the privacy" Ursula said while going to her room

"And there she goes" Kristia said

i remain silent trying not to look at kristia

"You know you can´t hide much from me Forte, I know you since we were children, so what you could say, I will understand" Kristia said looking at the moon

i take a deep breathe. "Kristia." i said.

she looks at me and i kiss her on the lips and i break it after a few seconds and i turn my back to her.

"Well.. thats unexpected" Kristia said

"How do you feel Forte?" the white haired asked

"im sorry about that. i wanted to let u know how i feel b4 it was too late. we dont know what might happen the next day and i know that a wolf and a dragon can never b together. anyways, please forgive me." i said and then summoned my wings and fly off to let her think alone.

"Oh hell no, you get over here" Kristia jumped through the roofs and got his feet and pulled both of them to the ground.

"Now before you try another of your escapes, I will tell you something" The poison huntress said facing him

"First of all, what are you talking about? if you are that afraid of tomorrow, you know you can count on us." She said worried

"Second, I don´t know how to tell you my reaction since you already know my preferences" this time, her tone was a bit of embarrased

"And lastly, im well aware of how you and your partner are with eachother, so it really pains me to think what Zeles is losing right now"

i chuckle. "ur an idiot, i dont love Zeles, Zeles is me. after i found a dead crystal, i placed my powers into it to make it alive and i went to the dragon elder in the mountains and then made Zedept from it and so i had my partner." i said pushing her off of me.

"and besides, i dont know ur preferneces." i said looking away from her.

ummmmm what i miss? ._.

i just ignore Ray

Kristia ignored Ray´s question and faced the boy in front of her

"Ok.. you are telling me that sweet girl who was really caring and had that shy yet powerful personality is just like a tool for you?" Kristia asked with an increasing anger

"I don´t know what she meant for you, but I saw on those eyes a shine of freedom and living, maybe Zeles was just power at first, but while growing she became a living being with a soul" The poison huntress said with a tear on her cheek

"Now, if you truly feel what you say about that girl.." The white haired unsheated her sword and pierced the floor with it, went to face Forte and pulled him up from his collar and showed him the events of both him and Zeles from Kristia´s point of view

"i never said she was a tool!" i yell at her.

"she is my female half. i know that she is her no matter what but i can never be with her no matter what!" i continued as i stood up.

"Someitmes you will be somewhere and when you look back there will be nothing, thats when true lonelyness starts" The white haired huntress said darkly

"dont u think ive already experienced that?" i asked in a sad voice

"Never said that, but have you truly passed that phase?" Kristia said taking her sword back

"The hardest battles are when you face your true fears, tell me when you do that, besides there is someone over there who would want to talk to you" the huntress said falling on one knee as Ursula appeared with a soul at her hands

"you better talk with this girl who is truly alive" the guardian said handling the soul to Forte

"Even at a fair distance, you managed to make a circle, now its up to him" Ursula said cuppling the tired girl´s face to give some of the already spent energy

"Zeles knows where i stand with her." i said.

"when i left the kingdom, i let everything behind so i know whats it like to have nothing." i said to kristia.

"Zeles, return to the crystal." i said to the soul.

the soul flew off.

"im going back to my room." i said and then walked off.

"Leaving everything behind like nothing and even more to feel having nothing?" the girl´s tone was of disbelief

"Have you no soul you mortal?" Ursula asked with anger and continued "If leaving everything that was so bad for you helped you something, then what about the good things you left behind, there were humans who cared for you and you just dumped them like garbage, haven´t you caused enough trouble already by causing the destruction of inocent people on your kingdom?" The guardian´s tone was serious

"Ursula, it wasn´t his fau-"Kristia was interrupted by the goddess of time "No my partner, if he truly believes that, then lets show him what he caused by leaving his kingdom"

"Im giving you one last chance, did leaving everything to feel nothing is truly worth it?" Ursula said with fierce eyes

i stop walking.

my hair turns silver. "u dont know what i was thinking about all THOSE YEARS!!" i said loudly as i turn around and my gold eyes turned red with a colorless aura around me.

"when i went to leave the kingdom, i wanted to her with me but i couldnt find her in time. if i didnt leave when i did, it wouldve been worse for both of us." i said in an angry tone.

"Zero, calm down." Zeles's voice said as my crystal came floating down next to me.
