Hunting Button + The Secret of Zenny?

In an effort to promote posting in general the Quest Board forums...

I considered Ryu's suggestion yesterday and created a temporary solution
to his suggestion for a "Hunting Button."

All right, so this is the first "Non-Update" Announcement and it pertains to the
use of ad-hoc "Hunting Button"



Now you'll notice:



UMH3 Status:

Offline
Online (G Rank)
Online (Tiny)
Online (Impossible)
Online (Default)
Online (CQs OFF)

This is used to express your CURRENT online status and Modes for (Ultimate) Monster Hunter Tri . Update it frequently in order to notify people as to whether or not you're playing. It would also be more effective to make a topic too.

The 2nd thing is...

City:

None (Offline)

Remember to update it to the city you are in (Assuming Greed 4> City Gate 4)

Obviously, Cities are numbers 1-40.

It's your responsibility to change it to "Offline" or to some phrase that expresses offline play:
"Not Playing," "Not Online," etc.

and finally...

Room Availability:

0/4

Now, there's no reason that it should be set higher than 0/4 because no one on the forum actively plays the Japanese version. So, update it with your room status and you're set.

####EXTRA NOTES####

Now there was going to be a "NA Server" or "EU Server" listing too,
but that was removed because posting on the Quest Board will cover that.

As for the Zenny...that's for another time.

is there anyway to list the hunting status all together,
like on the members page or say a "who is playing MH page"
so that we can look at one page and see who's online playing
instead of having to look at a players profile? or am i missing it somewhere?

The idea is to make a quest thread and update the room's status with the hunt button, which is viewable under your avatar. Sadly not everyone makes a thread though lol

Quests Threads are a crucial part to this system.

Though, I would like to have it that way.

I agree with Lyra. Maybe add everyone's hunting status to the member list, especially since few people actually make quest threads.

Sadly, the only way of viewing character sheet info in mass is to be an administrator. I'll try to see what can be done, but sadly it can't be implemented into "Memberlist." It's a matter of the forum's limitations as opposed to being impossible to do.

Well, it's a matter of posting in order to promote more posting from others.

So, if you want to quest you might have to post a topic once in a while, but of course the quest board prunes out old topics.

Yes, but a lot of the time, people are lazy. They don't wanna hunt down a viable party if it's too much work.

I would like to make a small observation about how well we all are using this playing status modification. I'm so pleased to see that some cities have actually gotten names instead of numbers, and omg! i almost cried when i found out that the cities have increased the number of hunters allowed to be in them at once, finally!! now thats what i call a Melee! lolol
