Never Ending Story

"Hi forte, good to see you are ok, im just finishing some paperwork" the huntress said

Ursula massaged her partner's shoulders and said "Just relax, when the guild receives the letters, we will have free time to enjoy"

"yeah, about me being ok, appearently i dont remember a thing after that incedent with that white man and that black girl." i said placing my right hand on the back of my head with my eyes closed.

"mind filling me in on what happened?" i ask.

Kristia sighed thinking on where to start "You were waving off between reality and your mind because of the things you needed to see, Zeles stood with you the whole time, and posibly didn´t sleep at all just by looking at the dark color below her eyes, and you had a big migraine because were thinking too much about the whole thing" The white haired said still signing some letters

"well that would explain the slight pain in my head and y she does look exhausted." i said.

"speaking of zeles, how did she get a body of her own?" i ask in a series yet angry tone.

"Kristia asked to the beings to make a body for Zeles, yet she had the free will to choose wether have it or not" Ursula said now sitting near Kristia

"If want to know why she made that decision, aske her when she wakes up" the huntress said looking at the sleeping dragon girl on her couch

"i think i know the reason." i said as i look at zeles sleeping.

"but that explaination u gave doesnt explain y i feel like i said some things to u but i cant remember a thing." i said in a goofy tone.

"If you have doubts, just ask them then." Kristia said while Ursula took Zeles to a bed

"Nah, im sure it will come to me soon and what happened to the wall?" i ask as i point to the wall with my right thumb.

"that was you thinking too much and went a little insane, no casualties, just your head" kristia said

"hmm.........................." i said trying to remember.
zeles wakes up. "zero!" she says as she jumps on me.
we both fall to the ground.
"hey, whats with this all of a sudden?" i ask as i try to prive her off.

Kristia sighed deeply while signing the last letter "Thats ot, the last letter"

"You know, we can release our tension with some sparring" Ursula said sharpening her knives

"That would be really nice" the huntress touching the hilt of her sword

Then both of them went to the training grounds

me and zeles r at a cafe. zeles drinks her drink while i spin my straw around in the cup.
"still trying to figure out what to do now?" she asks.
"yea, with our powers as low as they r i dont want to travel but i dont want to stay here either. knowing the guild they'll call me for something even though im a temp member." i said with my chin on the table.
"hmm, what can we do?" she asks herself. "oh, i know." she said as she gets an idea.
"what?" i ask with my eyes closed.
"we can go to the mystic spring. it maybe able to recover our powers." she said.
"the mystic spring huh?" i ask as i sit up.
she nods as she takes a drink through her straw.

The battle was taking its time and both warriors were starting to tire down

Ursula was moving really fast avoiding Kristia´s sword and jumped to hit her knives´ target. the huntress ducked and landed a foot on the guardian´s arm detouring the movement.

"Not bad, you have improved a lot Ursula" the white haired said moving in circles around the guardian.

"You too have done a well job, not even a scratch too" Ursula said preparing an attack

Suddenly a barrage of knives were sent towards the huntress and she threw her shield as a decoy and jumped the knives to assault Ursula with full force.

The guardian jumped with apair of knives on her hands receiving the force of the sword and used the momentum to roll eachother and bumping onto a wall

"I guess its a tie, don´t you think?" Kristia said with her sword at Ursula´s throat. "Yeah you are right" the guardian said with her knives barely touching the rib area of the huntress.

Both of them got up and relaxed with some water.

we're still at the cafe.
"so r we going?" zeles asks while still drinking her drink.
"if it means getting away from this city, sure." i said as i finish my drink.
"then we need to prepare and u need to say bye to kristy." she said.
i look away. "i kno." i said.
"then lets go." she said and we paid for ur drinks and got ready to leave.

"If you guys are leaving, atleast say your see you laters" Kristia said from behind them

"Those springs are really what you two need since it helps dragon type beings" Ursula said while holding a bag of fruits

"Just be careful, and Zeles please look after Forte, he tends to be reckless and a blockhead when he gets annoyed" The huntress said and gave the dragon girl a whistle.

"If anything happens to any of you, just blow this whistle and we will reach you guys as soon as we can"

"how do u guys know about the springs? their only suppose to b known by only a few selected ppl." zeles asks.

i place a sheathed sword onto my back. "im not a blockhead like u think but i will admit to being reckless at times." i said as i catch the whisle and place it into a pocket.

"u know i may most likely never use it anyways." i said being all cocky.

"I have travelled a lot and have found many places Zeles, those springs are kind of hard to find, even more get the right to pass through it, thats something you dragon type people have advantage with." Kristia said making a mental map on her mind

"I know you may never use the whistle Forte, thats why I count on Zeles to use it just in case" the huntress smiled at the dragon girl

"So what is your plan after going to the springs?" Ursula asked

"dont know, as long as i stay away from this city and its guild." i said in a pissy tone.

"we may travel for a bit and we might relax a bit back home." zeles said.

"and idk how long we'll b gone so keep in touch and i hope i can remember what happened during that time too." i said.

"Allright, If you guys are going to the mountain springs, I suggest you to take the tunnels at the south of here, they are the safest and quickest way to get there" Kristia said pointing south

"Meanwhile we will go to the North, I got to see how are the snow forest and the frozen caverns, the fauna around there have been having a good progress" the huntress said

"You just want to go away from this place and see how are your nox children" Ursula said with a smile that made the huntress blush.

"Well.. that too haha.." Kristia smiled

"my powers may have weakened but i still have my skills but thanks for offering us the south, i do want to avoid the cold as much as possible." i said.

"we better get going b4 the guild finds us, cya." zeles said.

me and zeles left the city and headed towards the forest where the spring is located at.

Kristia and Ursula were travelling North with the darkness of the night surrounding them.

"We are almost there, just another hill and we will reach the forest" the guardian said moving some tree branches.

Both of them finally climbed the hill and watched the whole scenery

It was a vast forest filled with snow and on it´s side was a big lake with crystal clear water, some creatures were drinking from its borders and others were swimming in it. On the other side was a mountain with some caves on it.

"Its good to be back home" the huntress smiled.

zeles is sleeping in a tent near the campfire while im sitting under a tree guarding her with my sword next to me on my left side.

"its peaceful tomight." i said looking at the fire.

i hear a twig snapping and i quickly get up with my sword ready to b unsheathed.

a family of red foxes come by, i smile and toss some scrap food towards them.

the cubs eat the scraps as the parents eat after them, i turn towards the fire and put it out.

"time for me to sleep as well." i said and i enter the tent for the night.

Kristia was taking care of some baggi eggs while Ursula was treating an injured barioth

"This place never change, huh?" the guardian said patching the injury

"Indeed, although I wonder where are the deviljhos, their mating season is finished and no sign of the eggs" the huntress said until she saw some trees being shaken

"There they are" she said as some deviljho cubs were eating a prey that a larger one hunted, Kristia and the big deviljho made eye contact and nodded in an agreement of peace.

me and zeles r walking through the forest when the sound of trees rustling happened and i place my right hand over my right shoulder onto the sword's handle while zeles stays behind me.

a rathalos and rathian appeared and stared at us, i turn my eyes into dragon eyes and stared right back at them, they started to growl when the sound of yelp came from below them and we looked and saw a baby los and ian.

i close my eyes and took my hand off the handle and reopened my eyes and they were normal and the dragons walked away.

"good thing u didnt fight, those babies would've lost their dad." zeles said.

"to b honest, im getting tired of fighting. i just want to relax." i said.

"so y dont u?" she asks. "i cant, not yet." i said looking towards the sky.

The torches were finally placed and lit, the cavern was full of dust and smelled weathery

"Well, it looks better than i thought" Kristia said arranging the food on the shelves

"Thats true, its good to see that this place is on really nice state" Ursula stated checking the wooden pillars. "We may need to replace some pillars tho"

"Nothing that some good hardwork can´t do" the huntress said taking an axe.
