i want to become a streamer, not just for tri but other games too, is there a way i can make this happen for free, or with very lil money, i also have a laptop. no desktop, does this matter?

Depends on the quality. For a cheap, used one, you might be able to get one off eBay for $20.

You would have to check though. You also might need a video splitter if you want to play on the tv while streaming.

This is what I'm using. With proper settings you can get some proper quality. (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QQbcRc_kwk&feature=plcp )

You do want to get some other components as well though. It's very frustrating to play on your screen while capturing.
