Never Ending Story

The white haired looked at the struggling boy and decided the best option to help him. punching his block hard head enough to make him unconscious

"Thats the best way to let him get help, now that her subconscious is far stronger than his pain resistant ego, Forte will deal better with this."

by the time i wake up, its already in the afternoon and Zeles is in her clothes.

"damn her, she didnt havve to punch me that hard." i said rubbing the back of my head.

"She's worried about u, even though u 2 will never b together." Zeles said.

"You really punched him hard Kristia" Ursula said putting a blanket as a temporary wall on the hole were Forte went throught.

"That´s because his head is too hard for a normal punch, and to ease the pains on his mind, the fist had some energy to recover any damage the memories caused" Kristia said cleaning the floor.

"Besides.. we were having a good time, right? the huntress said with some embarrasment

"you are right, but" the guardian sealed the wall and pushed her partner to the floor "The bed may be ruined, but we don´t need it, right?" Ursula said resting on top of the already crimson faced girl. "Don´t worry, its a calm day and we can rest in peace" the guardian smiled

"so what r we going to do now?" Zeles asks.

"good question, my powers r weak as can b and u lost most of ur powers too." i said leaning back in a chair.

Zeles opens her right hand and a weak flame appears and then she closes her hand and the flame disappears.

"You are worried about something" Ursula said while they waited on the city´s gates

"I can´t hide anything from you, right?" Kristia sighed and continued "I think im losing some sanity again" she said with some darkness

"Last time you were like that, you had an emotional crisis" the guardian said and her partner agreed

i lean back some with my eyes close.

Zeles sways left and right trying to figure something out.

"oh, hey Zero, how about we join the guild permenently?" she asks.

i lean forward. "no way!" i said.

the huntress and the guardian stood at the gates for 2 hours and nothing, the latter was barely holding her anger to the person who never came to meet them.

"We should go, he won´t come" Ursula said grabing her partner´s shoulder and they walked towards the inn

"Allright, take the lead Ursula" the Kristia said and they passed by some travelling people who muttered something

"There she is" a man pointed to her talking to the group

"Why did a paria like that live here" a woman said too

"Our homeland is nothing thanks to her" a third person muttered

"Don´t listen to them Kristia, they don´t know what happened in reality" Ursula said trying to calm the already nervious white haired girl yet knowing it was mostly gonna get worse before getting better.

as kristia and ursula walk back into the inn, me and zeles were about to leave.

"hey." i said looking away from kristia.

Kristia didn´t notice Forte and continued walking thinking about the travelling people, her nerviousness was already clear when she seated on the room´s chair

"Kristia, I need you to look at me, please" Ursula held her partner´s hands trying to calm her emotional crisis

"I-I didn´t do it, I swear, I stood firm for the people, not giving up" the huntress´eyes with lines of tears on her cheeks were seen, and she kept saying the same sentence.

Her guardian held her tightly patting the back of her back, the shivering of the body opened some emotional locks.

a knock came onto kristia's door.

"usula, its zeles, can we talk?" she asks.

Kristia held her emotions and breathed deeply "I´ll be ok Ursula, you can open the door" And Ursula opened the door calming too.

"What is it Zeles" she asked to the dragin girl at the door

"its about them. (zero and kristia)" zeles said.

during this time, zero is sitting alone at a table, drinking some water.

"What do you mean by them Zeles? For what I understand, Forte and Kristia are ok now" Ursula said thinking about their previous situation

"Yeah, what is it Zeles?" Kristia got up to meet them at the door too

"mind if i borrow ursula for some private talk?" zeles asks kristia.

"If she is ok with it, Ursula?" the huntress asked and the Guardian nodded seeing that Kristia looked ok.

Then Kristia sat on the bed out of their conversation

zeles and ursula go onto the roof.

"i'll get striaght to the point. he confeesed to her but she hasnt give him an answer. y?" she asks.

"Ok, let me answer your question with another two" Ursula said leaning on a wall

"Where was he during these 8 years? im not saying that what he did wasn´t wasting time, but to be honest, after that time and when Kristia and I met you guys again, didn´t any thought that she already answered that question?" The guardian said looking calmly at the dragon girl

zeles closes her eyes. "b4 i answer urs, u answer mine. i know that kristia goes that way but she needs to tell him herself." she said.

"She will tell him when the time comes Zeles, I don´t control her" Ursula said

"Well, why don´t we go and tell him right now" Kristia said at the door frame

"Since when did you stood there?" the guardian asked

"Since the moment Zeles talked about me and forte, and even if i didn´t want to hear, this ears can hear anything" the huntress said gesturing her ears

"there's a problem with that." zeles said.

they both look at her. "he can't look at kristia directly atm. i think its because of those memories. im not blaming u at all." zeles said.

"He knew what the price would do, and he has to move on with it" Kristia said with a serious face

"Besides, he doesn´t need to see me directly, forte just need to hear me"

"that may have been true in the past but during those years alone, he always regreted not being able to take u. he had nightmares at times of whats happening to u and now since he knows, i think that he cant face u anymore, let alone listen to u." zeles said with worry in her voice.

"What do you want her to do? Erase his memories? that is out of the question" Ursula said alerted

"She has a point, memories are part of him, erasing them will cause even more problems than facing his fears" Kristia explained

"Be glad that it is a temporary effect Zeles, since those aren´t his memories, they will fade in time, by now they are only lasting because he is afraid of them" the huntress said

"im not asking to remove the memories." zeles said.

"then what do u want us to do?" ursula asks.

"i'll leave that up to u but please, b easy on him." zeles said.

Kristia sighed and left the roof

"You know.. sometimes you need to take the iniciative Zeles" Ursula said going to her room

As Kristia found Forte, she sat on a chear near him "Well, what are you doing? she asked
