The G-rank

Hey, I was wanting to know a few things about the G-rank mode. First, do all monsters (low, high, offline) get buffed up from this mode? Second, what happens when you go on a hunt and one person has G-rank on while the other does not. Does it only apply if all hunters have it on, and what happens to the weapons? Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, for starters Offline does get the G rank buff.

As for the G Rank effects with non Custom Questers (wep stats, monster speed, and rage speed): If a CQer with G Rank enters the monster area first or you are the quest host (jhen and ala only), then that's the only way it works with a non-CQer.

If the non CQer enters first, then your weapon will do normal damage, but the other stat changes might not work if that happens. Therefore, I advise against mixing with non-CQers.

All non-CQers will see the G Rank effect, i.e. sleep axe and their speed monster will lag for them a lot (as long you enter area first or are quest host only.)

Well the "G-rank buff" is increased speed, increased HP and our DEF being lowered. The monsters are still faster offline and our DEF is still lowered, I assume the HP boost also applies.
